ZO has conducted research concerning financial assets and mortgage transactions through available records involving sub-servicers, master servicers, trustees, GSEs, custodians, transfer agents, and other financial-market participants.

His mortgage-backed securities research has included examination of publicly available regulatory and securities information, including resources associated with Title 15 U.S.C. §78c, the Depository Trust Company (DTC), the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC), CUSIP-identified securities, and related ownership documentation.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

ZO's investigative career includes professional experience with Ranger Investigation and Protection, a licensed private detective and investigative organization in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he worked from 1983 through 2008.

Beginning in 2005, he expanded his professional practice as an Independent Research Consultant, specializing in foreclosure, covenant, contract, documentation, and financial-record analytics. Since 2009, he has also served as an Assistant Research Consultant with the Housejacking Research Consortium, continuing his work in investigative research, documentation, data analysis, and financial-record research.

ZO is also a published author. His nonfiction work was published by HarperCollins in 2001 and was nominated for an Edgar Allan Poe Award in the Best Fact Crime category.
